EPIC 550hp LS3 V8 Defender by Squire Editions – I want one !

I love Defenders and this @squireeditionsltd 110 is very special. It has a 550 horsepower LS3 engine swap, ZF transmission, Bilstein dampers, high-end interior and aggressive external styling. I check out to take a look around the workshop, immerse myself in whatever Defender.

this is probably one of the few things someone does when they suddenly win the euromillions.

Do you think they would accept a left bollock as a deposit? I work on Chevy V8’s day in, day out, as Mercury Marine engines. Our family has always had Land Rovers for work and play. Put the 2 together and you’ve got magic.

Lovely Landie. We’ve got a 38yr old 90 V8. It’s noisy and not that fast but we love it. If I had all the dosh, would love an LS3 under the bonnet. Until then the old Rover V8 will do!

I would prefer this over a Mercedes G63.

I’m not really into Defenders, but this had me drooling a little…😊 If I had the money, a Squire Landy or a Grenadier…no contest

What a beast, never thought a Defender could sound like that

That’s about as close to my dream car as you can get. The noise of that engine is immense and I would be blipping that throttle all the time. I would want a pair of Purdey’s in a gun cabinet and boxes for a black labrador & a working cocker spaniel & like you I wouldn’t want a drinks cabinet as I would want to drive home so I guess a drawer would be required for my dirty Le Chameau wellies. Well you get everything you want in a dream world.

This is awesome. Squire editions know how to build a car. Alot of in house which is special. Bringing these great cars up to modern day standards mechanically and interior wise. Then shoving 550hp under the bonnet is just the ultimate fun and smiles per mile. Great stuff.

Local farmer, you know the guys that don’t make any money getting his old Defender sorted out!🤔

Love that these sorts of bespoke outfits still exist. Not just sticking a wrap and wheels. Craftsmanship and keeping them up to date as if that’s what you want.

Chevy reliability and pretty much bullet proof engine within reason.
Such a change from Land Rover regular breakdown, Why would you not.
LR here in Aus is one of the most unreliable vehicles.
Even our Australian Armed forces swap out the Landy’s donk for an Isuzu unit because those little diesels are 10 tim s more reliable.
I like the 110 shape and style and with an LS I would say yes please.

Even a Cummins turbo diesel swap.
    Great vid Pete.

Love that Chevy V8, so much lo rev torque. Always sounds good. Why not go one step further and put the ZL1 supercharged in, like the Jensen FF restomod that Harrys Garage loved?
