   hi, i installed a previous version of this in my van. no issues in the 2 years i had it. Needed a 3rd party circular polarising filter though.

    Cool looking piece of kit. But it is a shame manufacturers don’t put them in as standard, or at least video/ allow us to stream view the cameras they do have anyway. It would be so easy!

    On another point, I’ve just started IAM and interestingly was told by them that insurance discounts were more prevalent through having a dash cam than having an IAM pass !

    Have the makers checked with an MOT examiner about the fitting position in the front screen. In the past I have had comments about trivial objects such as stickers? Otherwise It looks good .
    Its a shame that I can’t access the built in cameras already in my car.

    How are these not solar powered and Bluetooth. No way would I have the cables. Messy.
    Best thing to do if you feel a dashcam is get a car where it’s integrated and sits there totally out the way.
    My car has this. The insurance company could not care less about the footage when I got hit.
    Arguably a waste of time unless lucky.

    I would never another dash cam other than 70mai. I have the A810 front and rear with the 4G dongle, so that i can remotely view the footage live, collision alerts, live tracking and hyperlaps recording when parked. I will be removing it from my Golf when i sell. Great products. You can also add the RS overley that shows you what the car is seeing. I should post some on my channel to show this. Really cool and shows a lot of information.

    Hi, @petrolped. An interesting video. I am looking for a camera system for my Santa Fe, and I was keen to get something with an “always on” camera. I can’t say I’d heard of this brand, but from what you’ve shown, it does look good.

    I’d be particularly interested in to know who you get to install the cameras in your own cars, if you don’t do it yourself. I am only about 20 mins from you, so if you have someone good, I love to know details.

    Thanks for video Pete. But when will someone come up with a dash cam that’s battery operated so no cable & a rear camera that connects wirelessly to the front camera??? If they did I’d be there! And as I mentioned before why don’t car manufacturers fit cameras to cars from new with a slot on the dash for a storage card or send the video content to the car’s app! It just seems to me to be so old fashioned to run cables all over the car in this day & age!
