I’m really coming around to the idea of buying a Porsche & your journey has been helpful 👍🏼

Great to see the Macan on the channel again. Fantastic looking car in a perfect colour 👌 .

I love tyre talk. Would you consider doing a comparison later.on, between the Lattitude and a PS 4S or PS S5 as a ‘traditional’ high performance tyre? The Macan sounds awesome!

Lovely car and a great colour choice. Something about a Macan and Crayon!

I love your realism and honesty about ownership of the Macan. Driving a car like the Macan is all about the interaction between it and the driver. If you’re going to worry about the fuel consumption then don’t buy one go buy a hybrid or a PHEV. Keep up the great work Ped!

Pete. It’s a 3.0 V6 TT Porsche. Like you say, if you want mpg, you are not buying a Macan. Think of it as smiles per mile.

How do you find the drivers footwell for space? I’m only short and find it a bit cramped with the bulge encroaching into the drivers footwell

Great vid as always – but TUT TUT – is that how a brand ambassador should run in a set of new boots…..

Great vid. I’ve had my Macan GTS for nearly 4 years now and after 30k miles I’m still loving it.

Probably one of the next all rounders on the market – drives like a performance Porker and defies physics at times.

… and have a 2019 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS in Miami Blue, so really interested to see what you have planned for yours.

I also use the same tyre shop and have found them to be very helpful and accomodating to my needs. They obtained the four Dunlops that I wanted overnight, and fitted them as I waited . All at a good price.
Being a long time EV owner I think it best that I keep my thoughts on the noisy exhaust to myself, whilst the fuel cost is your problem. It’s not a car for me.

The Macan is such a smart looking car. I will, at some point, be looking to trade my Audi sq5 for a Macan.
Looking forward to the 911 video.

Loved my Macan Turbo from that era. I wouldn’t worry about the fuel, consumption, as you know they hardly depreciate and given production is stopping soon they will retain their value really well.

Picked up my Gen2 Macan Turbo from Guildford Porsche 2weeks ago….first week, all small journeys around 18mpg. Longer journey to Heathrow yesterday sat at the speed limit (obviously) in ‘Normal’ mode, returned 32mpg. Couldn’t care less about fuel consumption in this car, always wanted a Porsche. Having had some tasty cars in my time I can honestly nothing compares to the Macan Turbo. SQ5 came close ish but it’s a distant second really. It’s just epic!

Thanks for the great review. I own two Macans; a gen II Macan S here in the UK; and, a gen III Macan S in Australia. I bought the first one new here back in 2019. It sat beside my 2016 991.2 C4S convertible until I sold that back in 2023. I loved the Macan so much that I bought a second one in Australia at the end of 2023. I’ll be moving back to Australia in August after 30 years away. The engine in the gen III is the same as the gen II Macan GTS, notionally a better engine than the gen II Macan S. Frankly, I don’t really notice the difference. My only gripe about the gen III is that it doesn’t have that lovely tactile switchgear. I guess that’s a first World problem. I should note that I’ve owned three 911s (996, 997 and 991) and an early Cayenne. I just love the Macan. I hope the rumours are true that Porsche is considering releasing a next gen ICE Macan. I can’t bring myself to consider an eMacan, especially in Australia.

Tried GTS and it’s OK , the best all round Macan was the long lost V6 diesel, imo Gen2 F Pace SVR is a better car than the turbo. A bit more juicy but still starts with a 3 on long distance. Sounds better handles better, prefer the ride on springs and Pivi pro is superior , nicer seats. I had 991.2 GTS so can long term compare the tech. Keep that warranty going as the hot v 2.9 t doesnt have a great reputation in the camshaft and followers arena after many revisions.

You should get fuel system checked. My 992 turbo cabriolet returned nearly 35mpg on a 200 mile run back from Somerset last week.

Beautiful car, just make sure you clean the drain holes on the sunroof, these can block+ water fills into the boot where the battery sits !!!
