    You can adjust steering wheel

Hello – yes of course you can adjust the reach and rake, but you can’t change the fundamental mounting point. Some drivers will find the positioning a little odd – but it isn’t a huge issue.

Seal U looks sooo much better

At less than £30,000, the new BYD Sealion 5 undercuts the Seal U DM-i and even the MG HS! 👀

Which of those plug-in hybrid SUVs would you buy? Or would you choose something else instead? Let us know in the comments 👇

BYD have too many models. I’m not convinced that parts will be available in the event of an accident

They make millions of them bro. There’s more than enough parts.

Reliability of the parts themselves is still to be tested over much longer duration of time.

Know you’re a car review channel, but shouldn’t you mention the unfair competition given to these manufacturers, which may impact jobs in the Western world? The future of these cars? Will they be here in years to come? Can you get parts etc? Personally, I will not consider a Chinese car at this time.

This car is already 2 generations out of date!

The latest Sealion 5 has a bigger battery in the PHEV models and the full EV version now supports the 1 megawatt ‘Flash Charging’!!

Unless you’re desperate for a new car, I’d give it 12 months for the next version…..

Ok I understand it’s adorable but it looks just so bland, for me seeing it as a fleet or company car nothing else. This BYD doesn’t really do it for me

FM is better than DAB so don’t bother with the update.

I think that UK legislation from 2020 says that if a car can receive and reproduce any radio service (which I assume might include streaming?), it *must* have a DAB radio or BYD are breaking the law.
