    Really can’t tell one VW from another…. So dull and overpriced.

    Don’t see the point of this car when the cheaper Kodiaq exists.

    A 7 seat sardine can that has 2 unuseable seats? Brilliant. All out of its unreliable bucket of parts that no one wants. Utter garbage.

      Don’t forget the inexplicable transmission tunnel that doesn’t need to be there . But as the reviewer says it’s all good cause it’s not too uncomfortable Oh and then he asked for his cheque.

    It amazes me that you can recommend that terrible 1.5ltr 150bhp tsi engine for such a massive car. It must be utterly gutless and thrashy. I had to live with it in a Passat for a few years and would honestly rather walk. It was like strangling a hair dryer to make it move.

    VW really need to step up their game. its scary to see how no one shows any ownership interest over here, at least from where im coming from, Malaysia.

    Their poor reliability history really overshadowed their reputation and all of their new models although “fresh”, its simply ridiculously priced, ugh!

      To get luxury from a VW you have to go back a few generations. VW Golf Mk7 is far better than the 8 at a fraction of the price.

      @@SaK-w4cDid your attitude come from a free market too?

      He wasn’t looking for an answer, it was a statement. Your reply is pointless because it doesn’t address the matter which is that VW were previously more upmarket as a brand than they are today but are still charging the kind of prices you’d expect to get the upmarket product for.

      First sentence: question.
      Paragraph: statement.

    I drove the 1.5 eTSI ysterday and ordered it while not a hot hatch its performance was adequate helped with the mild hybrid and the engine in the demo was new and tight and needed to loosen up but overall a very good car unlikely to use the third row, only surpise was no running in or oil servive required just 10K or 1 year annual service also the road tax is a bit of a rip off..

  17. @Ulvaeus Avatar
    @Ulvaeus

    Actually, this Tayron is not the same vehicle as the new North American Tiguan, which is shorter than this and does not offer a 3rd row. The new Tiguan sold in the U.S. & Canada is also different than the recent European version. It falls somewhere in-between the European Tiguan and Tayron in size and there are subtle styling differences and engine options.

    The Tiguan Allspace is the Tayron.
    The Tayron, with it’s 7 seats is available as a plug in hybrid but you’ll only get 5 seats.

    For me VW did the right thing by making the old 7-seater AllSpace under its own name. I actually like this new Tiguan/Tyron design giving them much more presence . But still not the fan of interior, for me the big SUV with 7 seats to get is still simply awesome Hyundai Santa Fe 🤟🤟⚡
