As soon as the words “no physical buttons” are said, I immediately stop watching.

Agreed. After all these years… some need to clean their ears. It’s not like there’s a new thing wanting physical buttons.

It’s Google natural language – on the move the screen is for the passenger, the driver just talks to it (as we mainly do now in an XC60)

Stopped watching to comment about the fact that I’m not interested 😂😂😂

Goodbye Volvo….not listening to customers is a KO for all car manufacturers. No buttons and normal dash is a no go!!

Interior starting to look like most other cars now. The screen looks too stuck on too. Meh.

It looks like any number of other electric ‘washing machines ‘. Might as well buy a cheaper Leapmotor or X-Peng, MG or Jaecoo. They are all now no more than ‘appliances’. It doesn’t look as if it complies with the latest Chinese laws requiring mechanical opening of the doors inside and out for safely exiting the vehicle in an accident or fire.

No side marker lights and agree with other comments, no buttons for temperature, fan speed etc.

“A car you can chat with”, “software defined”, a huge tablet stuck on the dash and no physical dials/buttons.

Geely have put the final nail into Volvo’s coffin. I had a V70 T5 R years ago, probably the last great Volvo and no interest since Ford bought them. I’m waiting for the M or 60 version of the iX3, my next car.

Love it but looks more like an estate than SUV. Needs more ground clearance

No buttons, and a horrible little strip instead of a proper instrument binnacle, no thanks.

    2:30 “It’s shorter but longer and wider than a Model Y. “
    Great bit of journalism there!

I feel like you shouldn’t make videos like these if you haven’t been invited to the launch. Many guesses you have made in the video has been communicated to the journalists that were actually invited.

No mention how much these cars weigh? I’d be surprised if the basic model weighs less than 2.5 tonnes! Please What Car? don’t over hype this model.

No door handles, no physical controls, no circular steering wheel. A Chinese appliance masquerading as a Swedish car
