    What makes you say having a usb c port charges your phone faster!! Charging speeds have not much to do with the type of usb port available at least from the perspective of the one in vans!! Correct me if I’m wrong!!

      USB-C, unlike regular USB, can charge at over 5V, depending on implementation and cable spec. Some can deliver up to 20V at 5A, and in certain cases 48V at 5A. You should look up the USB-C Power Delivery spec!
