Why do manufacturers insist on messing about with heating and ventilation controls, the simplest and best controls were solved decades ago, three simple rotating dials with separate fan control is all thats required.

6:08 some tips for those that don’t know and this is a deal breaker for them because they didn’t search enough. The Tesla has an epic auto gear feature where it literally knows exactly what you want to do and switches gear by itself when you want to switch between drive and reverse. There’s also the option where you can turn the right scroll wheel literally into gear select, you scroll up for drive and down for reverse, literally the best gear select options of all EVs

Realistically if you get the tesla you are only ever going to use the supercharger network. They are at least half the cost of the other networks and they are so convenient with no apps or cards to mess around with

I wouldn’t agree that you’ll “only ever use the supercharger network”. I’ve had my Model 3 for a couple of years now and do the vast majority of my charging at home – but every time we go away for a holiday (even just a few days away) I use the superchargers to get there, then other public chargers while I’m actually using the car to get around.

Tesla Model 3 Highland or the New Model Y are both fantastic cars. The screen is amazing and having many things within it is not a problem as most are setup before driving. Being a screen most needed options can be accessed via a press of the steering wheel button and then they come up on the side next to the steering wheel and they can be adjusted with a scroll wheel or touching the screen Adjusting temperatures is easy by putting your finger on the temperature displayed on the screen and moving your finger left or right to adjust the level.
The supercharger access and route planning that the Tesla does is fantastic. Another great feature is that you can set a charge level to have when arriving at your destination.

Did you intentionally leave out the most important thing?
The BYD Sealion 7 uses a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade battery, developed by BYD. This battery is known for its high safety, durability, and resistance to extreme temperatures, and it is used in combination with BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, which integrates the battery directly into the vehicle’s structure for greater strength and efficiency.
