      You poor thing. You clearly lead a very sad and unfulfilling existence. Have you ever considered a hobby? They do say that for every man there is a girl, or boy, out there somewhere.

    Great A few questions —

    How does it ride?

    More specifically— Is the new MYP adaptive suspension smoother, more compliant than the stock suspension on non-performance models?

    Referring mostly to the ‘standard’ mode on the MYP, not the ‘sport’ setting.

    Curious if it actually may be a better cruiser on highways than even the lr awd or fwd models?

    Can you attest to road noise vs non p models or even just on its own?

      Broadly speaking, standard mode in the Performance offers similar ride quality to a Long Range on optional 20s. We’d need to drive back-to-back on the same road to detail more minor differences. So comfort certainly isn’t an issue.

      As with other Model Ys there is some road noise – but far less than in the previous model. The fact the Performance has bigger wheels/tyres doesn’t help but doesn’t massively degrade refinement.

      Hope this helps.

    As this is a What Car? review I’m guessing it won’t be long before they mention Tesla!

    Whilst it is surly a brilliant all round spacious family performance car, it has to appeal to the people who love “understated”… I still want an Ioniq 5N in Red or Black…. Plus the Hyundai is cheaper to insure.

    1. @VSS1 Avatar
      @VSS1

      You think a 5N is more understated than a MYP?

    2. @visje66 Avatar
      @visje66

      An Ioniq 5N has nothing to do with being a family car. It’s a boy racer with fake sounds that sound BLOODY awfull. The suspension is so hard, it knocks your teeth out. The infotainment is so slow and unlogical with so many features you get lost….

      No, the 5N is for a whole other group of people. Can’t compare it to the Y.

    Just ordered mine in the US! US Pricing is much better, $57490 with all options included (Any paint or seat color and tow hitch), it’s a mere $2500 difference once you spec them similarly if you go with the more expensive options.

      US owners also get lifetime premium connectivity which is a nice bonus.

    I’m buying in Portugal here and Spain they charge €1300 more for white , whereas in the rest of Europe White is the standard colour !

    Seems a bit mean to those of us who have sunny weather and need white !!

    They didn’t bother reinstating the indicator stalk on this one, unlike the (ever so slightly) slower versions. This really isn’t a premium (luxury) vehicle, they should all be reduced in price by about £12k to reflect the lack of anything in the cabin.

    1. @visje66 Avatar

      It has the indicator stalk, just like any model Y has. Maybe watch the video?

      Am no elon fan, but this elon hate just makes him stronger. Half the population buy his products after watching useless idiots like you hate on him because he supported trump, and the other major portion population will buy his products because they don’t care about politics and they just want a superior product. There is a reason the guy became a richest man on planet earth in couple of years and catches tower sized rockets in mid air. If you think you are smarter than people like him, think again.

    Once we get FSD in the UK, will it really matter if you have the performance or not? Get the long range and pay for the FSD upgrade

    Isn’t the Euro spec rated for 3.5 second and US one for 3.3?

    1. @julienmaalste1 Avatar
      @julienmaalste1

      3.3 seconds is 0-60 miles per hour (which is the equivalent of 96 kilometers per hour) and 3.5 seconds is 0-100 kilometres per hour
