If you were buying a big family electric SUV today, which would you choose?
    A) Skoda Peaq (I love the styling and it’s huge!) 🇨🇿
    B) Kia EV9 (Give me that bold, boxy design!) 🇰🇷
    C) Peugeot e-5008 (I want the best value for money!) 🇫🇷

Don’t forget about Nio’s offering! We’re still very pleased with our ES8, 6 seater. Their newer EL8 is beautiful too

great pricing as the cheapest one just sneaks into the luxury car tax band thus costing you a grand a year in car tax before insurance and charging….nice

It’s a 7 seat SUV. Maybe you need it or maybe you want it, but either way you eat the cost.

When will Skoda, VW and Cupra get 800 volt architectures ?

What for? 90% of EV users are charging at home at 7.4kWh. The other 8% charge at workplace at similar speeds. For example taycan with 800v will charge from 10-80% in ca. 18 min, skoda elroq vrs will charge in ca. 26 min – 8 min difference, not worth the investment in development.

@Peter-rn9hponly if you are a Diesel-Dieter and you have a built in toilet. Then you need 800V
I charged 12% on Fastchargers in the last 12 months. Rest at home or other slow chargers.

What’s the point of having a third row if there’s no ISOFIX?

I ask you, how do you even want to get your baby in and out of the third row if it did have Isofix?

You basicly get punished for having too many kids, that would later on go and support the economy.

Disappointed everyone just does 60/40 split benches. Would have loved a 40/20/40 split or even better a removable or disappearing middle seat. 7 seats is great when you need them, but so is 6 or 5 or 4 when you need them!

So having owned 2 Kodiaqs over nearly 8 years and loved them both, the Mk2 Kodiaq didn’t really do it for me on the styling front and I ended up in a Volvo XC60 T8 and I really don’t miss the 3rd row of seats, although the boot is decidedly smaller. Quality is definitely a notch higher though. So I’m thinking when the time comes to change my XC60, do I go for one of these, or the utterly insane Volvo EX60 P12 with its 650+bhp and 0-60 in under 4s? Even the ‘milder’ P10 version of the XC60 is pretty nuts. Actually quite refreshing that Skoda haven’t gone chasing ridiculous power and acceleration numbers. Infotainment looks like a variant of Android Automotive that’s in my 2026 XC60 (not Android Auto, that’s from your phone).

Out of all of the Volkswagen brands. Skoda is by far the best. I see so many people complain about Volkswagens but hardly about Skodas.
