    ‘mango yellow’ = orange

      Came here to question “yellow”

      If you open a mango, the colour is not orange!

      Yeah, I love those stupid color names…

      Look at different images or videos, it is indeed a warm Yellow leaning towards Orange. But not really Orange

      @anemeth9281 If you open your eyes, you can see the car is orange!

    Not once have I got in to a car a felt the need to “scratch” the plastic. Also, adult room in the back is irrelevant, it will be either kids in the back or no kids at all.

      @tsuihintree

      Sorry for having adult friends.

      Also, it’s not about actually scratching it. Hard plastic rattles more, my previous car had a “hard plastic” arm rest on the door. It was so uncomfortable. Soft plastic also look nicer, feel nicer and nicer to touch.

      @tsuihintreeif hard plastic rattles more then why don’t old Toyota and Honda rattle? That’s just a myth

    Nice style but funny how all manufacturers said there was no money to be made in small cars and stuck us all in awful SUV’s now there’s more than ever. The design is so much more appealing than the Chinese offerings.

      Big SUVs were logical outcome of the legislation in the EU – the lighter the average weight within the fleet, the stricter the CO2 limits. Nothing better than to sell 2,5 ton EV: emission 0 g CO2/km, average weight of your fleet increases => your average CO2 emission target increases too.

  5. @AsherPiesman Avatar
    @AsherPiesman

    Really love the look of this new Twingo, in fact it’s the first contemporary EV I’ve seen in a while which I would genuinely buy if I had the money, just something about those looks.

    The majority of people buy small cars because they are cheaper, not because they need a “citycar”.

    1. @har3036 Avatar
      @har3036

      I’ve owned 3 Twingo’s in a row and used it for extremely long trips. During one 75 km trip there were 4 adults and two teenagers on board. They’re fun and economical and this new version might be just that.

    2. @paulbrowne6087 Avatar
      @paulbrowne6087

      I’d disagree. If you want cheap then buy second hand.

    4. @bojantenja Avatar
      @bojantenja

      Nope… I would say that I bought a small car because of easier parking in the city.
      And I use it much more than my serie 5, which is used mostly for longer teips

    5. @GIwillo Avatar
      @GIwillo

      I just don’t want a big car where cities are already suffering from dense traffic. Besides that, i actually started to like compact cars way more than big sedans or big SUVs since they are hauling that much dead weight

    That interior feels so much neater and more roomy than the R5, I love it! The 90s design also is gonna make a lot of people love it, as it’s quite likely that the 90s twingo was their first car.

    Again Renault are smashing it…. CATL batteries are from the best battery manufacturers in the world. Colours are fantastic and without doubt, many families will love one as a second vehicle.

    i genuinely love the look of this little thing, it’s so cute. could definitely see this replacing the fiat 500 if renault plays it smart with the price.

    That’s how you do a modern, functional interior, no just a tablet glued on a dashboard, without buttons and dials.

    Ahh.. why didnt they build in the sliding rear seats in the 5 as wel… Maybe not historic, but much more usable.. You can choose to drive around your friends and family in the city OR go for a nice trip with your significant other without loading the backseats.. I wish, they do that for R5.

    Versatile boot space, adequate space in the back, 1200kg weight, affordable, good looking, dashboard with buttons, enough range. This is it.

    1. @FirstLast-rh9jw Avatar
      @FirstLast-rh9jw

      Enough range? It’s basically like a car but unable to drive anywhere…

    2. @Knackebrot Avatar
      @Knackebrot

      @FirstLast-rh9jwDo you drive more than 200km at once more than a few times per year?

    3. @FirstLast-rh9jw Avatar
      @FirstLast-rh9jw

      @Knackebrotyes monthly, but that’s not the point. A cars value is in its all rounder nature. Fine a city mobile that can do 50 or 60 miles safely simply isn’t a car, its a special case, like a trike with a bigger motor…

    4. @Knackebrot Avatar
      @Knackebrot

      @FirstLast-rh9jwThe car still does 10-80% in 30 minutes. It’s not impossible to go further.

      It’s not a special case, it’s a car.

      You need to carry 5 people regularly or will it be fine? Can you charge at home or work? Do you need to carry stuff that’s too big for this car with rear and passenger seat down regularly? These are not impossible questions to answer.

    5. @FirstLast-rh9jw Avatar
