French car designers are far better than new car designers in Germany

I prefer how the old car looks at the front, but the side angle looks great! The “new” engines and the interior are nice too!

I don’t hate it, but I feel like it doesn’t look like a Renault. The big grille reminds me of the Suzuki Swift.

Exactly, the worst part of the swift as well, that hideous lump in front.

This looks fantastic, it’s such a shame that a this won’t have a RS version because that shape would be perfect on a hot version

Renault are certainly on the right track lately but i`m surprised they`ve shown this new Clio so long before it`s release in the UK as surely many buyers will now just wait for the new model…

They will have a long wait then as they said 2027 for the UK. And the Clio isn’t a big seller in the UK compared to some European markets.

Yeap, this one doesn’t give me Renault vibes… I like it but that front grill reminds me of a ford or jaguar or something

Today car manufacturers are focusing less on small hatchbacks as the increasing percentages of crossovers and so-called SUVs… They are just refreshing by changing the design slightly on existing panels but Renault completely redesigned made it look chic and cool .. it shows they are serious about the small car market even in time.

too bad they are not making electric versionwith big battery and ONE MAX TRIM. These cars are cost a lot, because manufacturers think like in 2005. People don;t want to drive with empty buttons – they want max version just like in tesla.

Why the hell did Ford cancel the Fiesta? Europe top 10 is full of Fiesta sized cars

Well not exactly. Last year the top selling car was Dacia Sandero. The second top selling car? Tesla Model Y

Renault saw what Peugeot did with the 208 and decided they are having a slice of that cake.

It works, that’s a great looking car.

Interestingly Laurens Van Den Acker used to work for Mazda so maybe no surprise there is a resemblance to older Mazda products.

But the design is more expressive.

I like the new design but I don’t quite understand the logic behind it, especially so soon.

The entire Renault line-up (except for the R4/R5 which are in their own class) was extremely coherent design wise, from the last Clio redesign, Captur redesign, Symbioz, Scenic, Rafale, Espace, Australe… everything was so clean and just made sense and the most important part for me is that all of these cars I mentionned are basically two years old or less.

Why totally redraw everything after so little time?
