    Extremely inefficient on fuel/energy (the electric is lowish and that’s with a massive battery) poor interior space, not great ergonomics, noisy on road compared to rivals. But why is that I really want one???!!!

      @youtubecarspottersguide1  The get version with less equipment and smaller wheels in Germany (check their configurator). But for some reason they bring only cars with the stupid AMG package in the UK.

      @@nicksokolis6343 in the U.S. so we get more for the posh ski resort or rodeo drive cars ,the 2 nd or 3rd owner will take them off road

    It does have a certain allure but at the end of the day it is a rather pointless outward display of wealth. Footballers have moved on from the Bentley Continental GT.

    It seems rather irrational that relatively cheap cars which do ~ 40 to 45 mpg … like the Fiesta ST and Hyundai i20N … get axed “due to emissions” whilst leviathans somehow get through.

    For me this is still the ultimate luxury off-roader, you pay for proper German mechanical engineering and craftsmanship 🤟😍💪
    G-CLASS is still the king and still the one in my dream garage 😅😂.

    It’s a great car with lots of personality and a nice analogue vibe compared to the baffling interfaces on cheap tablets that are nailed to the dash of many of its competitors. I was just about to comment on crash performance as that is what usually takes these older designs off the road. Assuming NCAP haven’t been wined and dined by Mercedes, the five star rating is impressive for a big square block.

    If you run a G Wagen you dont care a hoot about anyone or anything except your ego! Good review of a ludicrous vehicle. There is more rear legroom in my old Roomster.

    Alot of people don’t use g wagon for right purpose. We got g400d, put off-road packages. We go every where with vehicle. Efficient and extremely capable.
