Mercedes has ditched the “one bow” styling of the EQE and EQS for a more traditional saloon shape – and the new C-Class Electric has a near 500-mile range and a huge 101-litre frunk! ⚡🔥

If you were buying a new electric executive saloon, where is your £50k going?

    A) Mercedes C-Class EV (I love the styling and the range is plenty) 🌟
    B) Tesla Model 3 (It’s way cheaper & I want unrestricted Supercharger access) 🔋
    C) BMW i3 (The 560-mile range is a gamechanger!) 🏁

Huge screen is not a luxury interior design.
    Change my mind.

50% cheaper than knobs and buttons, that’s why dumb car makers are so fond of unsafe screens.

It is for the Chinese but not for us. This shows where it’s the most important market for Mercedes now

I’ve had one car with a touchscreen, I got rid of it as soon as I could, I’ll never get another one.

@karlhulme8014 An E class 300/350 W212 with under 100,000 km last year at that generation is maybe my next car. One of the last real Mercedes-Benz.

the EPA number for the same car is actually 350 miles. But that won’t stop everyone pro-electric still quoting the utterly meaningless WLTP number.

I believe you can do the test again ( without car behind ) to see if it brakes automatically…

OK, so now they have a small EV sedan (CLA), medium EV sedan (C), large EV sedan (EQE) and an extra large EV liftback (EQS)… wish they started with the T-model which they are missing now. Or at least make this a liftback, which they are also missing. Its a nice car though, thanks for the introductory video.

Who the heck is fan of those touch screens? 1st manufacturer to include back proper buttons will make a killing! I do have hybrid, perfect combo , weight, real world consumption, but hate that everything is through touching and sub menu settings something. Feel so stupid to complain back in the days about my 535D Idrive ! What a car that was… new premium cars design, style and screens are just pure madness 😢
