Both good cars but are a hard sell considering the current price of a nearly new Leaf.

Even so I’m rather impressed by how efficient they both are.

The Dacia Spring is manufactured by Dongfeng Automotive in China.
The LHD Leapmotor 03 is assembled in Poland using complete knock-down kits shipped from China [where they’re made].

I believe the T03 has a four year warranty whereas the Spring has three although if get serviced at at a Dacia dealership you can extend that to seven years. The T03 has much a more sophisticated battery management system that includes preparing the battery before a charge. I don’t think either has a heat pump.

I’ve had my Dacia Spring for a few weeks now and it’s great. It’s a joy to drive around town and to park. And the acceleration up to 40mph, which is all you should be doing in town, is very good. The T03 is an interesting car, but ugly as sin, and haven’t actually seen any on the road yet.
