    Comfortable, practical & reasonably priced, just like a pair of sensible shoes 👞 & about as interesting.

    Real shame they didn’t update the battery 🔋 size in the facelift as lots of VW/MG cars now have upto 24kWH batteries so can get up to 75 miles from the PHEV models.

    Still no updated battery in the phev? Thats a shame as VW based cars have way more range

    Why would you make the top version just over the £40k luxury car tax trigger?

      Yep, that is a head scratcher. It makes zero sense.

      Most sensible people will buy a mid-spec model under the threshold.

      A better question is why is 40K the threshold still? It’s doesn’t adjust for inflation or CPI. Which, considering it applies to a market subject to those fluctuations, is insanely stupid and shortsighted.

    I have a 2024 Sportage and whilst I’m pleased with it, the annoying things are the driver assist that flash up on the screen (not to mention the audible sounds) especially the ‘Coffee Break’ one that keeps chipping in every 15 seconds. I can put up with the speed notifications and lane deviation as you are able to turn them off

    To be consistently informative with accurate information that potential owners need, particularly in an updated version of an existing model, is very challenging. Doug Revolta is probably one of the most intelligent, informative and consistently good reviewers in an ever-widening motor reviews marketplace. Well done Doug, an enjoyable and comprehensive review, yet again!

    Korean reviewers mentioned updates to suspension with dual damping, double glass on the front, better sound insulation for the arches, gearbox and engine tweaks and baby mode that almost acts as adaptive suspension – do we get all these changes in Europe?

    Is the front light design & placement on KIAs designed to provide dealerships with a steady flow of replacement work due to parking dings?

    Have kia fixed the regeneration filter problem instead of doing a forced regen on the petrol models. I had a 22 model I had to take it back to twice to get the problem sorted and it was only 6 months old and it still wasnt sorted so I went back to bmw

    I am not sold on the exterior. The pre-facelift version looked much better especially with those boomerang style DRLs. That interior though is a step up. No piano black, very well done!

  17. @GrahamR-q9b Avatar
    @GrahamR-q9b

    Let’s hope you get a choice of interior colours ,when I was looking for a new car last year I was informed you could only have a black interior on the GT line S . Kia seems to gives you any choice as long as it’s black. Other market’s get the option of four different coloured leather interior’s. As usual we pay more for less choice.

    They improved it just enough to keep it at the top of it’s class, but for me the new Mazda CX-5 is probably the one to get
