Old one looked better. But this is getting better.

    No annoying beeping safetyq feature?

Agreed. That’s what we all want to know. The bugbear of every Jaecoo, MG and BYD owner.

    2. @powershin12 Avatar
      @powershin12

you can turn the beeping off or set the volume to minimum.

@@powershin12Indeed you can…EVERY TRIP! Very annoying. They should make a profile setting linked to the key so that it is automatically set each time. Hopefully KIA have learned from MG, Jaecoo and BYD mistakes.

@Sno0py-XV208 are you sure? did you set the driver profile, the one that pops up on the infotainment screen when you turn the car on? because mine always save my preference every single time i turn it on, and it is the pre-FL car.

@Sno0py-XV208they can’t, it’s considered a safety feature so NCAP want people to make a conscious decision with turning stuff like that off before every journey and every new car not previously sold in Europe has to have that type of thing

PHEV range? Prices? Luxury tax? Driver alert BONGS? So much missing in this review.

It’s a reveal, not a review. Most of that info won’t have been released yet.

Just pick what you want and lease the vehicle. My neighbour is an ex car salesman and would never buy another car. He has a Golf R on lease. My wife has just leased an Elroq. It’s better to invest your hard earned money than spend it on a car that will depreciate.

@@madmcadder4536 I’d argue that (at least in my country) it’s cheaper to buy cash instead of leasing. I bought a brand new Skoda Octavia back in 2020 for 24.000€. If I did leasing instead, now I would be with no car and I would have payed almost the full price of the vehicle. Now my expenses are just the regular maintenance and insurance costs and I can save more money each month for investments instead of having a monthly lease payment.

@@Pelenor-b9u It’s always cheaper in total to buy in cash, but for many people spreading the cost out over a longer time (rather than paying all at once in cash) makes the cost easier to absorb.
E.g. It’s easier to come up with, say, €400 per months unstead of saving up a lump sum of €30,000 that you’re not using for anything else (for example, not putting in a savings account or investing).

It’s not a review. They’ve just launched the car. The review will follow no doubt.

Here is just the question what you like better Hyundai Tucson or KIA Sportage 😅😅.
But still nice job by KIA updating Sportage to keep up with all the new SUVs on the market in 2025.

Still cannot believe that you don’t get an unlimited mileage warranty in the UK. Come on get with the times. Even little old Australia on the other side of the world has had an unlimited mileage warranty.

Nope, the new steering wheel is horrendous. The white interior for all GT-Line versions (as done for other Kia models) is also a downgrade for me.

The interior looks much nicer. Shiny black plastics are no more – all replaced by patterned matte plastic and metal. The seats have a beautiful color pattern. And the exterior is decent, not amazing. But those wheels just look bad, hopefully there are more options in you select the GT Trim.

Hello. I think the video is missing some information. The new Kia Sportage XL, the long version of the current Sportage, has arrived in the US and South Korea. Which version of the new Kia Sportage will be coming to Europe, the current version or the longer one? I’m asking because they’re presenting the new Kia Sportage model without explaining its measurements/dimensions. Thanks! Best regards.
