Need I say what I think of Rishi Sunak? I think he’s a ripe flat fish!! Fancy putting all his green policies on hold for an extra five years!! He deserves a political version of a lift under the lug hole!!

If you think that Millionaire’s Row in Chelsea is gorgeous and full of very rich people, you should see New Road in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire!! My home is just off New Road, but it’s a High Street address, officially!! One passes the larger houses and are looking at big Jaguars, massive BMW Sports Utility Vehicles and all sorts!! There are also a few posh petrol cars like the Jaguar F-Type!! Not for me, but they’re pretty vehicles!!

And if you want to know what I drive, it’s a Renault Zoe called Poppy after the gorgeous flame red colour.

City Range Rover? It’s not a car that I would go for!! How is anyone going to park a blinking Range Rover in a town or city?!! The Jimny is a much better bet for an urban 4×4!!

Is there any way to off set the high cost of owning and Ev

Sure, drive it. So the low fuel cost compensates the owning (=buying) cost. If you don’t drive a lot it makes no sense economically. But you can buy one just for fun of the acceleration. But no dull 150 bhp ish Stellantis. Buy a decent electric vehicle.

Drive a lot, over 15k miles a year and the money makes sense over 5 years vs petrol.

I’m 6’2″ and did like the E208 driving position and dash on a test drive. My eyesight pretty rubbish generally though legal for driving but the 3D dash effect seemed clear to me

What a wonderfully enjoyable way to spend a half-hour, Team Electrifying – great work… 😎
I would like to repeat a previous comment made on the last Kilowatt Half Hour, though, if I may…
When referencing the cars you’ve driven etc, can you please flash up a still photo of the car, please?
For example, while I know exactly what Tom was talking about with the fantastic-looking Zeekr X, I imagine there’s a whole traunch of folks out there who have absolutely no idea, since it’s only previously been available in China…
I just think it would help viewers ‘connect’ more with your content and comments. 👍

My wife has an e208 & has varifocals and has not complained at all about the 3D screen. Many other minor gripes about the car – absence of a manual or anyone at Peugeot Eastbourne who knows about how the car functions being the main one.

How many brands does Geely have ? When we were over in Gothenburg recently the port (we were on the bus to the Volvo Museum) had a shipping area full of Lynk & Co SUVs – only two colours and they were everywhere!

We have 2 EVs and having solar / battery storage fitted next week. If we had enough roof space I would ask the installer to arrange the array to spell f*** Rishi. We are the flight path to Gatwick so we would be clearly visible to many inbound planes during a prevailing west or south-westerly
