Ref brake lights and Regen , there is an international build standard ‘UN Regulation No 13-H’ section 5.2.22.2 that above a retardation of 1.3 m/s/s it must show brake warning lights, below that it ‘may’ show them.

Deffo do cars for tall people, I’m 6ft 4 and am not very flexible and really struggle getting in cars these days, I just manage to shoe horn myself in our ioniq5. The doors seem to be smaller these days😮

My very old (2011) car has a feature that you can set the max radio volume on start-up. So if you leave the radio on at a high volume the night before it will be lowered to whatever you set the limit at in settings. Seems brilliant.

Not quite as tall as Mike, but always found the German and Swedish brands are best for taller drivers. Worst car I’ve tried recently as a taller driver was the EV6, couldn’t get in without banging my head on the thing.

Thank you all for taking the time to discuss my car buying dilemma…..one other option I thought of was the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross…..am I right in thinking the rearmost seats on these are pretty small/for occasional use? Thanks again, Rob 😊

I had a Volvo S90 and switched the stop start off as the cut throat drivers I sometimes encountered and with the busy Birmingham roads, that the stop start was a serious risk to my well being. The lost seconds before pulling away being dangerous and risked never being able to pull out safely or causing an accident.

I’m 6’3″ with long legs and completely get the issue with Peugeots. Last time I tried to fit into an electric one everyone was in hysterics as I attempted to get the seat in a position where it was drivable.

What about an episode on cars for tall people – driver AND passenger! Length of seat for your legs, height adjustable passenger seat or not (I’m looking at you, MG). We struggle to find a car that fits both a 6′ 1″ and 5′ 7″ driver… and please talk more about V2L

Do one for tall in the front, normal in the back, normal in front tall in back, tall in front tall in back. As it then covers seat adjustments better.

Thanks for the shout out. Good to hear Ginny preserved her modesty! However, somebody else replied to me that they were more concerned about ‘The Thing’ from the Addams Family randomly stroking Ginny’s face. Having watched this episode I can’t unsee it? Sorry🤦‍♂️😂

Volvo and GM are the newest manufacturers to state they are backing out of their EV only commitments. That’s the news today.
