The new Capri.. Wrong name, not a Ford, too expensive.
Despite the style meltdown it looks Nothing like a Polestar 2.

Visibility can’t be that great with three storks on the steering column! Stalks mate.

I test drove and ordered a Scenic, the three stalks didn’t bother me.

Love the podcast guys, always look forward to the weekly episode notification!
Can anyone give an answer to what to me seems an obvious question which no one that I’ve seen has asked! Why has Audi not produced an estate/avant version of the GT eTron? Why did Porsche get the ok to do both a saloon and estate with the Taycan but not Audi who are arguably the estate masters?! Thanks x

I do think we need to let it go on the names re-used on cars and the comparisons to old models of the same. Manufacturers can’t be expected to keep rehashing new versions of old cars especially those car styles that are no longer popular! Scenic isn’t a MPV anymore! So it’s called a Capri, look forward not back!

Good to hear ride being discussed. When doing test drives I tend to ask where the nearest speed bumps are, sometimes to the barely hidden disgust of the sales person.

I’m looking forward to the Panda and Inster tests as I want to go full electric and down size. They both seem to fit the bill.

And another thing with the Renault stalks….. imagine you are a wheelchair user who needs hand controls. So your right hand also has to do the brake/accelerator!

Capri should have been named the Bloater.
Whereas the Panda though larger than the original, is pretty good. But the interior, oh my, only a mother could like it.
If people want a high-rider, sell them Unimogs.

Drive selector of Scenic, panders to people, who miss French cars if the 50s-early 80s. But it wasn’t a good placement then and it’s not now.

The Panda’s coil lead – most artics use coiled hydronic hoses, for tethering the tractor to the trailer/s.

The best part about the Ford Capri is they will never get close to selling 22%. So it will get massively discounted and the lease deals will be fantastic. Already the iD4 is available for £350/mth on lease….. So imagine how cheap the Explorer and Capri will be!
