Perhaps it’s the sheer volume of new releases, combined with reveal videos and first drive videos for almost every one of them that make it easy to forget cars that came out a little while ago.
I’d suggest it’s now time to introduce a weekly twin/group test to help keep a wider range of cars in mind.

Great podcast. I like the informative, down to earth style of Vicky and Tom.

Despite all the Star Treks I’ve watched and inwardly digested, I still feel self conscious talking to my gadgets! Must try harder. 🖖🏻😎

Interesting stuff, the MGS6 needs to be sub £40k for the Trophy or it will not sell, and don’t forget this is their C sector car, room for a 7-seater above that!

I think MG will be promoting this with their own £3750 discount on all of the MG6S’

Sorry – the Dolphin Surf is not a tiny electric Lambo.

I think I was one of the earliest champions of the swear jar and of course I am as guilty on the DI7 Tourer front.
Suggestions would still be the 5’6 and a half swear box

When going for a test drive of the E-Vitara I asked if the Ultra could be specced with the wheels off the Motion, and Crossclimate tyres, never did get an answer.

We bought a mg4 xpower in april this year and ours does not have the vibration. We bought it for the 4wd as we live rural and drive alot in the narrow lanes. I have to say its been a fantastic car. We drive it in custom with soft throttle response and its better in the mud and wet than the 2019 volvo xc90 that we had before.
    Keep up the good work👍

Voice control is fine, as long as you don’t speak with a certain accent and or if you don’t have a speech impediment, etc.

To help with the forgotten cars, how about giving each car in a segment a score and listing a ranking on your website, then people can see how new releases fit into the existing landscape. Perhaps you could have a top of the pops style count down video once a quarter (MG S6 new in at #5, Model Y has been at the top of the charts for 2907 weeks, etc.) Of course eventually some might need down rating as the technical scene moves on (standard 400 mile range instead of 200, 400kW charging instead of 80kW 😮Etc)

I’m 63 and love using voice commands. It just seems more like the future to me. Looking away to use a touchscreen definitely not a good way forward other than for testing collision avoidance systems

I always say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ when using my AI assistants… Partly because I’d get a clip around my ear from the brothers who educated me, so it is hard wired in me now. However, I also fear they will eventually become our overlords, so maybe they will look back favourably and recall that I was polite and grateful. 😂

The BYD Dolphin Surf designer, Wolfgang Egger, actually designed the Lamborghini Huracan and it looks so similar in that bright yellow lol

Peugeot seem to have stolen one of those cardboard drinks trays you get from Starbucks to use as a steering wheel.

You may like to know we recently had an over the air update for our Leapmotor T3 that allows us to turn off all the adas things with two pushes on a steering wheel button.

Hopefully the Jeep has that too as I can imagine that the ADAS system will be going berserk when they take the doors off.😂

EV cars that people forget (and maybe for good reason on my top 3)

Coming in at No.3, the Korando Ultimate E-Motion, by Ssangyon

No.2, Ssangyon saviour KMG with the Torres EVX

And at No.1, the not so classic Crapi by Ford, sorry I mean Capri. 😂🫢
