The monthly price is pretty meaningless if you have to pay £2-5k up front (which you don’t get back!). You need to look at the total cost of the lease compared with the list price of the car, that’s the only fair way to compare and find good deals.

Took me a few days to get rid of the previous mg.
In the app, select the old mg, then request a code to remove it.

YES to the fiesta AI render! Imagine if Ford tweaked the twingo styled as a Mk1 Ka! It would be awesome!

Definitely with Ginny on the Kia colour palette, EV6 is available in other markets in some stunning colours. UK gets four, all shades of grey.

My new Toyota C-HR+ EV had a qr code to scan and setup was simple. This was done with me by the salesman who went through EVERYTHING before I drove off 😃

Not sure I love the Fiesta render. Seems to remind me too much of cars from the 1990s that never started

We love our Ioniq 5, so would definitely choose the Kia EV6 GT for road trips.
On a recent 300 mile trip to east Kent from mid Cornwall, we stopped at Ionity in Basingstoke for a 17 minute top up with the charge rate peaking at 237kW, before continuing to Kent, arriving there with 55% remaining in the battery.
The 800V architecture is just brilliant for charge and get going scenarios, which is pretty tough to beat for the money.
On a Tesla open to all charger, the charge rate is a solid 98kW, which it sustains from 20% right up to 85%, before tailing off, so that’s a 30 minute charge, which is a perfect time for a mid journey rest stop.

BMW is using QR since ages. Not sure why you use the “manual“ way.

I believe many European markets get more basic specs than the UK because people are less bothered about loading their cars with spurious extras. I believe this also includes Germany where poverty spec Golfs were common as they were considered basic transport similar to Fords rather than the premium product that marketing they are considered by UK buyers who are IMHO victims of clever marketing.

Mazda “6e” does no one in Japan say model names out loud before they commit to them?

I agree with Ginny about the Fisker Ocean – I had one short test drive followed by a much longer one and was about to order a One as I thought it was a great car in all respects except much of the software was “coming later” and I read on the forums that there were financial problems in the company. One thing I found was that having driven air suspended Range Rovers and RR Sports and now Defenders the Ocean’s coil suspension was the closest steel suspension I’ve experienced to air springs.

I feel really sorry for the people who paid full price for the Fisker. It seemed a good proposition – one that would support family life for a long time. Doubtless there are some poor souls who dug deep into a loan and made an outright purchase. I’m surprised that a legacy manufacture, under-represented in EVs, hasn’t bought out the designs, jigs, tooling etc.
