I remember just some years ago when a A6 Avant cost about 35k euro.

Lovely estate…. My guess it will be the price that might put 9 out of 10 off!

*Looking at the side profile, it is clear that the cargo area is not as long as it should be in an estate car.*

So happy to see that VW Audi Group have sorted out their crap switches, buttons and software….😢😢😢. Sorry but they haven’t.

To adjust the volume on the steering wheel, just swipe up or down on the panel for quick volume changes, clicking is for incremental changes.

Swiping on a steering wheel is dogshit UX design. Seriously, how are Germans so bad at this stuff?

I had to force myself to bother to watch until the end of this one. So many niggles to this car. Even the Alcantara ( not leather) looks cheap and hastily glued onto hard plastic to disguise it in AliExpress style. Still, I guess the executives who’ll get this won’t really be watching the reviews as they’ll just get it as it’s an Audi and it fits their leasing arrangements.

I must say I prefer a lower floor with middle seat “drive tunnel” to flat floor with no tunnel. I am guessing Audi used it to store batteries and lower the overall floor height

Putting the badge aside, if this was for sale for £40k I think it would be seen as a great car to buy. Also, it would be good if in reviews you could say (using whichever metric you decide) what projected value might be after x years ownership.

Absolutely it’s like reinventing the wheel when there is no need. Over complicating what could be so easy.

Imagine how expensive it’ll be if the flap breaks?!! Sooo unnecessary, what’s wrong with a normal spring actuated flap? It’s even quicker

And yet no air suspension for the UK. Not great in a 70000+ car.

Very happy to see more EVs like this hit the road. Personally it needn’t even be an SW if the Sportback has a liftback.
I think the DS N°8 has a bigger boot than this Avant and might be cheaper too…

I like it, but something terrible has occurred here. I PREFER the look of the Q6 e-tron…. Yes, prefer the SUV version. Worrying that!

Estates are cool, they look much better than SUVs. They are often more practical and always better to drive. Good work Audi.

When are car makers going to learn that we do not want or need digital mirrors? And piano black can get in the bin. Weird that they are so out of touch with what customers actually like

I bought my first SUV in 2009, then when switching to an EV, I purchased an Ioniq. The Ioniq did handle like a dream, but a weekend of heavy rain with rocks being washed into the road made me realise that I was happy to trade handling for increased clearance and the safety that provides.
