Is this the new trend now? Add as many screens as possible? Its overkill.

And make it super subject to reflections. Yessss the colors look much better but why did they ALL stop making matte screens??? (for tvs, computers, etc…).

The car says: ‘What do you want me to find for you now?’ I think they should remove the word ‘now.’ It makes it sound a bit like the car is complaining — like you’re asking for too many things

Great video, my22 e niro 4+ coming up to 50k and 4 years old. Kia changed fluid on battery at 40k service. Due to change car next year, but as still getting 300 miles out of it. Keeping it maybe a good option

If you wondered how German is this car really – finger in an A hole is such a german way to open the boot.

#1 feels very much like GLA. A bit sporty, heavy, but stable. Not too much of a comfort. So yes, it feels German.

Nicola is great, but this review was pretty poor, there were so many mistakes: 1. The frunk is 47 litres in the awd versions, 2. the boot is smaller then enyaq´s (the boot in the smart is 630 litres including the under-floor storage and from floor to cealing), 3. There is one pedal driving (it´s the s-pedal function) 4. There is no massaging seats (only versions sold in china have massaging seats)

That charging flap might seem a bit silly but in some ways it’s an improvement on many. I’ve driven a variety of Stellantis cars in the last few weeks and they all seem to suffer from outsize charging flaps which stick out a long way. It’s fine if you’re parked in your own drive and charging overnight and equally they’re probably OK at a rapid charge DC charger because you won’t be there very long. If however you need to charge overnight in a public place it won’t be long before some airhead comes along and snaps the flap off. The design just hasn’t been thought through. The one on this Smart at least doesn’t stick out too much.

Yes the charge flap 😮 I live in the Highlands of Scotland. Last Winter I had to turn off the auto fold mirrors on my Megane Etech. I was so worried about those very icy mornings, with temperatures around -10c at sea level.

No. The Enyaqs boot is bigger because it was 585 liters from the floor to the upper edge of the rear seats.

Tesla and Smart #5 measure to the roof.
Smart 5 is about 460 liters.

I own an Enyaq and this boot definitely looks a LOT smaller

I do own Smart #1 in Portugal for about 1.5 years. It is ultimate city car…
Except ridiculously high price, tiny seats, small trunk and the freaking speed limiter, which is not possible to turn off once and for all…
Oh, and your Cruise control will stop working if you use trailer hitch – with a bike rack, for example. Can you imagine? You have to push the pedal on your longest journeys…
If it was not a home charger and 8 times cheaper than fuel, there would be absolutely no point in this car.

And I had to buy VW Passat GTE as second car for real adventures and to forget about charging on the go. Now I am packed.

As for #5, Brabus and 2 motors are stupidly useless and ineffective IMO. This is no real off-roader and too niche…
