    Should be popular. I wonder if they’ll eventually offer a version with the 81 KWh battery from the EV3 and other models. I would choose brown over grey for the interior.

      No, it is a different platform than the one used in the EVx line with ~400 V voltage. Don’t ask me about the technical details, but they refer to it as E-GMP.S

      I think in the UK they only get the SWB version which does not have them? In the USA we get side opening windows.

      My thoughts exactly! 300 miles is more acceptable, obviously would love more but 300 is asking much.

    I love it! To me, the Buzz is a seriously overhyped vehicle that isn’t nearly as distinctive as it should’ve been, although the interieur is nice.
    The brown interior though? Nah, not for me.

    What a cool van! I actually think it’s quite fashionable in it’s own right. Hard to justify the price difference for a VW Buzz for me.

    Definitely bring the brown colour over, really requires milage nearer to 300. Heat pump as standard.

    I do like it better than the ID Buzz; the brown interior isn’t a bad option to have. I know it may not hit the US anytime soon (if ever). It might take another startup company for America to get a camper EV and Van.

    I agree, brown interior is the only way to go and won’t buy one without it. Love the Android Automotive OS like Renaults EV’s.

    The Buzz offers less space, for twice the price, the usual crappy VW software and a ridiculous 3 year warranty?
    I think this is really a great van and I’d love to see people turning it into a serious affordable very eco-friendly camper van. This will be a game changer.

      This has even less range than the Buzz…smaller Battery…the humps in the rear are awful, and only 90cm due to bad rear axcle Design…ID Buzz 120cm.
      I was also happy about this Van, but after seeing it Life at IAA in Munic, this is a plastic interior in total an absolute NONO for me…the Buzz is really Premium compared to this crap.

      @n1vca

      @@josefv-y8m I was there too, because I work just a few feet from the Kia booth and really liked it. You are right, despite having having way more space and a much smaller battery, it has just a few km less range, so it even more efficient than the super expensive Buzz that you seem to want to cuddle with the interior, I just need the things that I touch to be nice and probably soft, but I don’t care about some plastic in areas I will never touch. But I am also not a person who has excessive amounts of money and so I see everything from the point of how affordable is it to me and other non privileged people.

      We have to remember Kia’s attempt for version 1 is cheap and affordable. The VW ID Buzz version 1 attempt was nostalgic and fancy.

      Both vehicles are pretty much on opposite ends of the buyer spectrum. Eventually VW and Kia will both meet the middle.

      I am still hoping Toyota and Honda will release their EV version.
