    How is Deepal for actual spare parts in the UK? Is their warranty worth the paper it is written on? Does the UK insurance industry hammer you for wanting to buy it??

    Isn’t this the platform for the Mazda CX6e SUV as well?

      Yes Mazda EV CX6e is based on this

    that the HUD doesn’t work with polarized sunglasses is really a big miss. I like how the interior is inoffensive in all the ways that the BMW iX3 and i3 aren’t

      Aren’t all HUDs polarised? The one in my ioniq 5 is and I’ve taken to leaving a pair of non polarised sunglasses in the car as my “driving sunglasses”.

      Most or almost all HUDs don’t work with polarized sunglasses. When I had my Audi A7, the HUD was unusable because of that.

    Do all Chinese cars have same designer

    1. @cat_lucifer Avatar
      @cat_lucifer

      Large Chinese companies have a lot of money and hire designers and engineers from famous car brands like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Bentley, and others.
      The Deepal design was developed in Turin, Italy.

    That’s a very generous review. UK car mags have panned it for its ride and handling.

    Can’t wait to see Mazda version of it, would be definitely at least much better looking 😅😅😅, like with Depal S07, where CX-6e si better one.
    Tom when are we getting Depal MX-5😊😅

    Not sure the Shahed drone inspired design will go down well in Europe. The folks in Birmingham should probably have flagged that.

    If I had a nickel for every Chinese state-owned automaker that entered the UK with nothing but dull crossovers I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but weird it happened twice.

    The car does not have a sunroof that can be opened so the car was right to tell you it can’t do that or that it hasn’t mastered that skill, because it’s just impossible. It can open the “sunshade” if you ask it to do so, which it did.
