Hyundai IONIQ 3 – So Good My Sister Bought One !

I believe the IONIQ 3 is the very best looking vehicle up until now from Hyundai. I took one of Wales to see how it drives and I wasn't dissatisfied!

Bought a white N Line last week with sunroof, Bose and vented seats (and rear heated) – was offered all the paint protection stuff as well – took it off and got 20% off including grant – delivery Jan 27

Two major mistakes. White paint and dropping the protection. The white paint disease is very real, and a problem for a number of manufacturers. Seriously reconsider your paint choices. Take care.

That sounds like a fantastic deal and a great spec, enjoy the wait! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

I personally love the white paint choice as it works so well against the gloss black ๐Ÿ‘

This could be the car to replace my wife’s 10 year old I20…..provided she can get her head around not having gears…. yup, she’s old school! Finally, an EV I can get on board with!

10/10 Tony, try “the devil at 4:00” with Spencer Tracy from early 60’s, trying to escape a volcano, much better than this.

Thereโ€™s a bit of CR-X & CR-Z in there at the back. Honda missed a trick.
    It looks an interesting vehicle

The styling of the 3 reminds me so much of what an evolution of my mk9 Civic might look like, the low nose, rising tapered windows, and particularly, the split rear window with a ‘wing’ through it. So I’m very tempted by the 3 as a potential EV replacement for my Civic. Interestingly, the prices of the Civic back in the day, and the Hyundai today, are roughly similar…so much for cars costing alot these days!
Btw, getting a massage in the back of a car sounds like something a celebrity would get caught out getting…ahem ๐Ÿ˜Š

An aptly named spoiler at the back of the car, in my opinion.

Good looking yoke I must say, if someone had said to me 20 years ago that Hyundai and Renault would be knocking it out of the park design-wise in 2026 I’d I have told ’em to adjust their medication ๐Ÿ˜€

I guess the rear window above the spoiler will not get covered in road dirt

My mate bought a Hyundai eKona last year and although it’s a good car it has looks only a mother could love. My first reaction was it had fallen out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. This one looks a lot better.

Itโ€™s an awd platform, theyโ€™re starting to deploy awd variants on it, and was planned for at inception, just took a while vs e-GMP and e-GMP.m.

This is finally the successor to the original Ioniq.

Remember having a chat with a Hyundai dealer a few years back buying one of the last of the original Ioniqโ€™s they had, bemoaning that the original Ioniq wasnโ€™t being replaced – loads of customers just didnโ€™t want the large Ioniq 5 or 6, and they also didnโ€™t have the efficiency of the original Ioniq either.

Yes, 2 of my friends have the original Ioniq. A good little car with normal hatchback looks and also cheap to run around town in.

Nice car. My 1st EV was a kona and i liked it alot, so smooth and easy to drive, so i am sure your sister will love it and never look back. i see they still have the boot area tie down hooks fitted to something that isn’t tied down, that makes me chuckle

Reminds me of a scaled down Genesis GV 60. A lot of car for the money and the ยฃ18K base model would probably meet the requirements of most people.

Well in Australian it got canned about a month ago because Hyundai Australia said it was too expensive – I was eagerly awaiting for the 3N next year . But never fear , I purchased a Ioniq6N instead ๐Ÿ™‚

With that big iPad screen and the low hanging rear mirror you can hardly even see the road in front! Its crazy.
