Completely unhinged review — and I loved it!

I thought it was great too … but the end choice is a hard no.

If it’s such a great car, VW can offer more than the absolutely pathetic 3 Year warranty. As their EV’s are simpler than complex mechanical ICE’s, offer them with at least a 5 year warranty. The torrid history of the ID.4 reliability does not fill me with confidence.

Kia stand fully behind theirs … with a 7 year one.

The full £3,750 government EV grant seals the deal as substantially cheaper. Why would you not just chose the Skoda Epiq on the same MEB+ platform… it’s better built.

The rapport between Nicola and Batch is on a par with Morecambe and Wise, Cannon and Ball and the Chuckle brothers. They need to have their own spin off show.. Road trip perhaps, assuming they don’t kill each other first 🤣

I think in the future you should list the 10-80% charging time instead of the charging peak.

And maybe add the steering characteristics of both cars instead of just one 🙂

I think in the future you should measure how much kwh’s get into the battery after 10,15,20,25,30 minutes.
10% or 80% of “something” is useless information same as the “charging peak”.

Or even better: How much range you get in 10, 20 or 30 minutes of charging.

@insaneshepherd8678 exactly…the relation of efficiency and time to charge.
Means the time to charge 100/200/300km is more important than kw.
A german newspaper (Auto Motor und Sport) adds this always to their tests.
And surprise an ID7 charge 100 and 200km the same time as a A6 etron with 800v…only at 300km this is much faster on 800v.
Means if you drive upto 600km mainly, you gain almost nothing using the 800v technology.

Batch had a odd couple thing going on with Ginny as well back in the day. I think that’s his style with the ladies 😂😂😂

Actually made me smile and that’s pretty difficult to do right now. And Nic is 100% right. (Met her at MWC 2025 and she is just as nice a person as she seems in the videos, lovely lady)

😆EV2 can’t help how it’s designed. That’s just where it stores its extra cellulights.

That EV2 is like a 1980s Hilton hotel in the USA with its ‘Have a nice day’, and uniform grey interior. Comfortable but drab

    Which is actually great.
