Looks are a huge reason why I fall for a car, and this has them in spades. I’ve owned two RRS in the past, but a shift in finances means I’m driving something much cheaper these days. I still adore this car, just from a safe distance – I’m definitely not breaking the bank to get one. I genuinely look forward to having one sweep past me on the M25. Happy days!

@sayersdan Yeah I’m the same, when business is going well, I treat myself with a Range Rover. But in a downturn, I go for something cheaper like an Audi.

Shut up you’re jinxing it. You WILL have an “RRS”. Your finances changing is proof that things change.

I think it’s good that it looks pretty much identical to the ICE versions. I have a PHEV RRS now, but will be ordering one of these in 18 months time, subject to the range stacking up. The BIK is a killer for PHEV versions from 28/9.

How is the crawl? One problem I have with many EVs is the on off nature in stop start traffic.
Unlike an ice powered car with a clutch/torque converter the lack of modulation makes me travel sick.

If there’s one manufacturer that needs an EV it’s RR. Maybe the simpler EV platform will help reliability.

Engine noises – in the early 1900s do we think Peugeot, Tatra, Opel and others were saying, “We need to make this thing make a clippity clop noise as it goes along? The customers will need it to sound like a horse.”

No. No they weren’t. Because they weren’t idiots.
