Ginny did that first X5 video when she was three years old. Very impressive 😁 Also this new BMW is impressive too.

This car is far too large and heavy for something that only really seats four.

Love this car! But i miss physical buttons on the steering wheel, a knob for adjusting the climate control and a physical knob to change the direction of the airflow from the vents.

Also.. i hope there will be possible to option away the unnecessary passenger screen also on higher trim levels.

Other than that, the iX5 is awesome!

I like it, I think considering the reception of the iX3 it will do well, however I think the iX3 may sell better. I am a little.fed up of SUVs and looking forward to the upcoming i3 touring.

The steering wheel looks all kinds of wrong…and why can’t modern cars have their A/C controls on the dash where it makes the most sense?

How does Ginny lose an inch from standing next to the car at the beginning and being 5’4″, to jumping into the back seat and stating that she’s now only 5’3″?
But in 2000, I’d have been just 40 and Ginny 2000 was damn cute back then. 😉👍
I do like the new styling of these BMW’s. But this is a huge beast for UK roads. I’d save myself a few bob and just get the iX3, personaly speaking.

Bmw should add a camping mode to all their pure EVs. Give it a different name if it doesn’t fit with the brand. Dog mode Festival mode Gymkhana mode etc

Ginny & Ginny the younger, great reviews and lovely to see you both again… The BMW iX5 looks lovely but I’m struggling to ignore the 141kWh battery, the weight, and the poor efficiency of the car. BMW claim it will do 525 miles WLTP, which is only 3.7 kW per mile, and if it does that in the real world, whereas your favourite Enyaq, if that had a similar sized battery would exceed 600 miles or 1000Km, which is food for thought, don’t you think 🙂

Not sure of the reason behind canceling the ix so soon and replacing it with much the same?
