80K Miles and a Huge Bill – My Mini Roadster JCW could be the BEST Car I Will EVER Own !

I have owned my Mini for 12 year and she has actually just hit 80,000 miles. Time for a major service and some gratitude for possibly the best cat I will ever own.

I feel I’ve lived this car with you Pedro, followed you making most if not all of the mods. It’s a beautiful car and you’re looked after her brilliantly. Good to see she’s giving you so much pleasure and fun. Well done

Great car and it’s to nice to see you enjoying it. I have followed your journey with it and bought a jcw coupe as a result

I feel like we have similar tastes in cars, albeit I prefer to have a roof. I traded my 16 plate JCW for my 2.5L GTS and now thinking about my 911, as were you until the disappointment with the one you got. Now following your journey with the Spyder and it has made me question whether a GT4 is a step I should explore before 911, but for the driving I do, a GT4 wouldn’t quite work as I use my car as a daily. But watching this reminds me how much I loved my mini, such fun to drive

That just summed up my motoring pleasures- roof down, nice strong engine to H+T through the gear box, small enough to thread along British roads and not to valuable to keep locked away- in my case a 16 yo BMW 125i Cab, another keeper for sure 👌let me know if you want a comparison vid Ped 😎

I have an MG TF, two MGF’s, and a SW20 MR2 T-Bar (and an Astra TwinTop). All combined, they didn’t cost what your Mini did, and they all provide fun, wind in the hair motoring. I enjoy hearing about affordable, fun “real world” cars more than the hyper cars we are force fed, and so much more than EV’s. And I’m clearly not alone. Nice Vid 🍻

Wonderful stuff. Same, but GP2. And now a Roadster as well. She will be making her GRRC Autosolo debut at the end of October, be good to see Ruby there too.

A good looking car. I have a 2012 dark green Cooper D with just 74k on it and love it. We’ve been through two F56 S’s a Paceman S and Clubman but the little hatch is the one that’s stuck with us.

Great to know you are going to keep your Roadster; it’s nice to see such a lovely example. If you don’t mind my asking, is Ruby free from corrosion? I would love to know whether you’ve had her treated or managed to avoid it with dry storage/care, etc. I have the same car btw 😊
