How does this sound: the most effective electrical German saloon cars and trucks readily available in the UK – in a drag race!
Mat's behind the wheel of the Mercedes AMG EQS 53. With 658hp and 950Nm of torque it's certainly adept – however it's heavy though, weighing nearly 2600kg. And it's the most costly vehicle here, costing more than ₤ 161,000.
Next up we have Yianni in the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. It has 761hp – almost 100hp more than the Mercedes – and 1050Nm of torque. It's lighter too – at 'only' 2300kg. Oh, and it costs ₤ 142,000.
Finally, we have the BMW i7 50. It has 544hp, 745Nm of torque and weighs 2600kg. It's the most affordable vehicle here however, costing ₤ 110,000.
So what do you believe? Easy win for the Porsche? Could the EQS nab it or could even the BMW sneak up for the win? Only one way to learn – LET'S RACE!
