Ev batteries will be thing ofnpast once hydrogen cars are out from Toyota..

Unless hydrogen vehicles have suddenly started working in cold temperatures, I don’t see how Toyota or Honda (who were the first to hit that wall) would mass-produce something that only works year-round in the tropics.

Newsflash…….The Toyota Mirai hydrogen car has been in production since 2014. The annual production numbers are pathetic (in the low 4 digits) and the efficiency of hydrogen for passenger cars is abysmal. Stop dreamin’ and do some research.

Toyota already has solid state batteries. Toyota also has hydrogen powered cars. Toyota does not have hedge funds trashing them to bankrupt them out of business.

@KlownDreamin Toyota has been talking about their advancements in solid state batteries since 2011 at the latest. Please be sure to let us know which decade they plan to emerge from the lab and actually make them available for consumption. Also their “hydrogen powered cars” are a dead end with annual production numbers in the low 4 digits.

Tesla’s latest million mile battery could outlive the.multi-generational nearby sources of supply it already has secured under contract, not to mention its multiple generations of families already registered as verified Tesla owners by founders, signature builders of record and maintenance histories.

Excellent, essentially in 10 years either hydrogen, ammonia, or solid state EVs will be mature and in the 2nd hand market. Will probably look at changing my luxury diesel mile eater around about then. Assuming anyone can still afford to drive in 10 years, hurhur 😉

SSB is always just around the corner. Until I see them in mass production I remain a skeptic. However there are new battery innovations launched every week it seems so just because this isn’t the THE battery right now doesn’t mean it won’t be 5 years from now. Different chemistries for different batteries… LFP, Sodium-Ion, Aluminum-Air are all still wanted and needed for different types of tasks and economic markets… Sometimes people are willing to sacrifice range for durability and thrift, I know I am…

So why can’t you buy them! Which car has them that the buying public is buying instead of a Tesla???? Thought so none!!
