Ugh! Near great, except for slow charging and no Carplay. Otherwise, something to consider.

I understand the desire for faster charging but as people adjust to EVs and realize how little they will likely use DC charging the less I think they will ask for faster speeds. I’d much rather give up faster charging than Android Auto/Carplay. -Travis

Yet another station wagon-proportioned vehicle… I know the reasons for it, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it!

No CarPlay? No thanks. Hope GM rethinks that strategy with EVs.

It doesn’t seem to be the case but Tesla and Rivian have been successful with the same strategy. -Travis

@@EVBuyersGuide Tesla and Rivian are successful because they have good software designers. GM doesnt.

Didn’t GM get the NACS charger?

GM will be transitioning to NACS but we won’t see it for the ’25 Optiq. -Travis

To me the Lyriq looks great in black but this one does not, can’t quite figure out why.

Looks like it would have massive blind spots in the rear. Otherwise, nice enough, especially inside. I do hate flat seats with inadequate adjustment, though.

God, this thing already looks so outdated compared to a Model Y. Feature set is generations behind too.

Guys, good review! I’m already a big Optiq fan, although I’m actually getting some Saturn SW2 vibes from the exterior styling. The interior is posh, love the splash of color on the doors and seats.
