A few years ago a woman on The Price is Right was played Ten Chances for an Audi eTron & won it with one chance. It had six numbers in the price & she won it with one chance. If you want to see this video, it’s called The Price is Right, Ten Chances (for an Audi).

@@EVBuyersGuide Yes it is. I saw it when it aired.

it’s not a bad car especially with the longer range after the first few years. Infotainment system badly needed a refresh to compete with other tech-heavy EVs. Plus if you go all the way back to the MY2019 it’s basically the same car but 1/3 the price

A nice new car, a GREAT used car. -Travis

One of my favorites. Felt overpriced for what it offered, so I decided to go with my current favorite – Rivian R1S.

Sadly the Q6 and new Q5 design is not appealing to me.

That seems like quite a jump from Audi to Rivian, what were some of the deciding factors? -Travis

@EVBuyersGuide q8 etron was almost 94k (prestige model), and i was able to get R1S with more range and space for less. Also felt that the MMI / software was sub optimal.

In a way, glad, given that Audi had essentially shut down Q8 line.

I really wish they could stuff this massive battery into a more efficiently designed car with newer motors so that it could achive around 3.5 miles/kwh and closer to 400 miles of range.

I hear that air suspensions in older cars are a problem. Has the tech matured?

If audi was smart they wouldn’t bring more evs and instead would bring over their phev models

I watched the show and the commercials, and I will give it a like. I own an Audi eTron. Would I buy this? No. Too expensive.

Are you at a Port where these cars are waiting to be released?

I test drove a 2023 that seemed identical to this car with less range but also for half the price. I wanted to like it enough to buy it as it seemed like a great deal but I just didn’t. I’d have been okay with it but wanted more. A short test drive is not a good test of efficiency but even so I was surprised as how abismal the efficiency was of the car I drove. Struggled to crack 2 miles/kWhr. I picked the 2023 because it didn’t have the battery recall on it that all the previous years still have.

Nearly every Audi car videos their vehicles are in dark colors even their interior is always black. What, they got no other colors? Polestar, BMW, and Telsa at times have showcase other colors. They really need to showcasing their cars in other colors other than black and dark blue, their interior as well needs to be in other color than black.

I’d rather have a ready-to-go spare tire than room for stuff I probably don’t need to take along with me anyway.

My 2022 eTron is aging well… by far the best car I have ever owned, smoother, quieter and more comfortable than anything else in the market. I hope Audi doesn’t lose the plot when they release a successor…

We purchased a used 2019 etron at the end of 2023 for $26K for my wife. Besides the battery recall, which took 6 weeks to complete, it has been an excellent vehicle for our growing family. Super comfortable, quick enough, and great size. I do wish it wasnt so thirsty, a lot of times during winter my F-150 Lightning returns better efficiency. 😅
