Why the new Porsche Panamera is ALMOST perfect!

Modification your vehicle with Carwow:

This is the all-new Porsche Panamera!

Mat's got his hands on Porsche's newest family-friendly cruiser to see what's changed compared to its predecessors. What's more, he's also visiting if it has what it requires to go head-to-head versus rivals like the Audi RS7. Let's take a more detailed look …

Starting with the design, this new generation of Panamera is easily the best-looking to date. In advance the design obtains elements from the most recent Cayenne, has some wise creases along the bonnet, and any vents integrated into the bumper serve a real purpose. Along the side, appropriate door deals with have actually replaced the pop-out ones from previously, and the large rear haunches give the automobile more existence on the road. The rear end has been somewhat revamped, but it's still unmistakably a Panamera. All in, it looks seriously wise and sophisticated.

The style and quality continue through to the interior too. Soft-touch, high-quality materials throughout the cabin, and the infotainment screen is crisp, sharp, and responsive. The digital dials are customisable and intense, and there's ample change in the seats to offer the best view out. There might not be too much storage around the front of the cabin, however when you're in a car this nice, does it really matter?

The entry-level Panamera is powered by a 2.9-litre V6 turbo that produces 353hp and 500Nm. There are different pure ICE and hybrid models throughout the variety, all the method up to the range-topping Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid, which integrates a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electrical motor to produce 782hp and 1,000 Nm of torque!

When it comes to the price, the Panamera variety kicks off from around ₤ 89,400. Nevertheless, if you're in the market for one of the V8-powered automobiles, this begins with the GTS, which begins with ₤ 131,700, increasing all the method approximately around ₤ 175,000 for the range-topping Turbo S e-Hybrid! So is it worth it? You'll require to stick with Mat to see on your own!

Ironically, you have probably created a better sound source to what the dinosaur T-Rex would’ve sounded like 😅😅.

Apparently, the scientists have recently discovered a larynx box which they’re stating would be more like a bird sound than what was used in Jurassic Park.

Why Is No One Making A Diesel ( e.g. Green Bio-diesel) Hybrid ??? The Diesel Could Be Used As Just A Generator For The Battery, Also Include Some Solar Panels So The Car Can Charge While Parked

An unpopular opinion, but I’ve always liked the Panamera in it’s various incarnations, notably the second gen with the V8 was an absolute jewel. I optioned one out a number of years ago just for giggles, with a starting price around 94K. I made it almost half way through the available options list, which are Extensive, and it was already eclipsing 145K. That wasn’t even going entirely top shelf, just the niceties based around a long-term ownership. Ooof!

@@anonymousonlineuser6543 For the relatively good news, the depreciation is quite steep on either vehicle. Pre-owned goes for about 50-65K year for year (2018ish ballpark). Different strokes for different folks.

Same, but the market for such car is sooooo small. It’s spacious, but very long (especially the bonnet), its fast, but heavy, a great family car, but too expensive to be a family car. Its like a car that you really want but at the same time you don’t XD

I’m largely turning away from Carwow these days as it is all drag races or hundred thousand pound cars which I would never afford! I miss the old days when they used to review a fair share of practical cars as well! It’s a pity really since I would rather watch Mat review a car than most others but it’s all just style much and little substance these days.

Cars like this this one are way out of my league, but from what I heard from somebody who works for a Porsche dealership in Germany, their parking lot is full of cars brought in for repairs or recalls. He said Porsche has never been standard for reliability, but quality has really gone down in the last 5 years, with some models not even reaching 50k km without some major issues.
