AWD only helps with launch, RWD should in theory be faster once it has gained traction as it’s lighter and there’s less mechanical losses

Till this day, I still can’t find a 992.1 Turbo S VS 992.2 Turbo S Hybrid drag race on YouTube to see how much progress Porsche has achieved with their current flag 911.
I honestly thought by now Mat and Carwow would have graced us with that event already.
Also apart from the race with its predecessor I really can’t wait to witness how much the Hybrid Turbo S fairs against other current era Hybrid Supercars and Hypercars for that matter.
Mat and Rory please make this happen.
I know I’m not alone on this one.
And Thank You For All The Other Many Dream Drag Races I Wished To Witness That You (Mat) And The Team Made Happen On CARWOW.

Porsche 911 turbo S was really something back then.
Today, There are might be newer cars with newer technologies that’s faster and capable of obliterating this Porsche in a drag race.
But 911 Turbo S will always be my favorite carwow drag race king, and my opinion will be remain unchanged. -
