I think the Volvo wins this one
-
BMW was a little quieter
-
Definitely, awesome cars
-
Watch till the end friend
-
Obviously BMW here
-
How about the X3
-
-
My Audi A6 Supercharged is also very quiet at 70mph.
-
Audi has always made cars with the best aerodynamics. I drive an A6 myself and I’ve seen it firsthand, but these are SUVs, and I don’t know why they didn’t test the Q7.
-
Who writes A6 supercharged?
-
@romansenger2322 To distinguish between 4 cylinders and diesel engines, plus European 🇪🇺 cars have many different motors for a single model.

More More more noise level test please…..love this content

RR

Rarely tested but definitely demanded, alongside suspension quality
-
Meanwhile my 99 nissan screams in agony above 60 lol
-
You pushing too hard bro😂😂
-
@@foliclement7931 hey, you gotta hit the interstate every once in a while, right? 😂
-
My 01 e46 bmw also is quite loud on highways. Always 3k rpm or up 😅
-
I see your 99 Nissan and raise my 06 Honda FRV, which spins at 3.5k rpm at 65mph. 😅

I knew the BMW would win. They make their cars very sealed up!
-
I hope they are all in the same tyres
-
Nope
-
It’s what the manufacturer provides the cars with when bought new
-
@@masim6053 smart has 150 hp, stelvio has 280, cat type matters, therefor tyres should be deferent
-
No. Give them the tires the manufacturer put on it. Why would you change anything from factory?
-
@@CaptainAlex69 Plenty of people change the factory tyres. They’re not always the best, especially for road noise.
-
-
This is highly dependable of the tyres. For an accurate noise test, the same tyres should be equipped on all the vehicles
-
I honestly think this and suspension are like 80% of deciding what suv to get…
-
Motorweek (US) were carrying out interior noise tests years ago. Always wondered why UK motoring journo’s never bothered with it. My Jag is super quiet and so smooth. I’ve always loved comfy cruisers even when I was young.
-
Would love to see the Volvo EX90 in this test.
-
A lot of this is dependent on the tires used
-
And the road

100%согласие

@@Fresh2death-p9git was the same road, are you blind😂

@@chris_0018not same part

Was fully expecting Rolls Royce spectre to just pop up 😅
-
lol, 90s BMW 7 series and Mercedes S-series : About 40 to 50db on a bad day 😂😂
-
I think perceived noise is more important than dB. Not all dB is equal, and some frequencies are more noticeable than others. The Volvo and BMW win this particular test.
-
That’s a great test for the average consumer
-
Any high performance variant has stiffer suspention … bigger wheels and smaller sidewall and wider tires .. more noise and vibrations.
-
BMW is lovely. We can hear the quietness.
-
That Merc is suprisingly loud wow. I know it can depend on the surface, but pretty much exactly what my 18 year old Volvo C30 gets, with its 225/40 R18 tyres.
-
Cabin noise level with some standardization is a rare thing to report in car reviews yet very important aspect of comfort.
