I love physical buttons
-
BUCKET!!

Not only are physical buttons important, but the quality of them is important as well. Looking at these buttons in this video, they sounds plasticky, cheap, and rattle. Buttons + high quality materials are best. Screen for infotainment, but analogue gauges for speedometer/RPM.

That’s excellent. Looks somewhat like the buttons on my 25 Ioniq 5. This has even more buttons, which could be better, but I haven’t felt the need for more on my car.
-
That’s how it must be. I never understood the Cupra brand however. The most generic western brand on the market

Ferrari heard the complaints and brought back steering wheels with buttons.
Personally, I really love a physical start button, but would be ok with touch/haptic other steering wheel buttons. There’s just something about physically pressing in a button and hearing the engine kick on…
-
You know modern car design is poor when companies are being praised for having buttons (as a returning feature)
-
“Buttons rock!”
-
“They actually listened” proceeds to show another fully electric 5000 ton generic looking SUV absolutely nobody asked for.. but hey the buttons are tactile now!
-
Hear me out…we make the buttons utilize mech keyboard cherry mx switches so we can swap and customize the feel/sound

Matt Needs to review the New Volkswagen Tiguan

An electric one? 🤣

Great, now they just need to disable start stop, lane assist, seat belt chimes , traction control, electronic handbrake, speeding chimes, rev limiters, fake engine sound and we are good to go!
-
Other car manufacturers should be taking note
