Lease/ buy it for 4 – 5 years until the warranty is up and then sell it

Love all these moving parts vehicles now have that could go wrong at any moment. Genius on the manufacturers part, that way they have a steady income coming in too.

Side mirror tilt motor replacement is 150-200$, tailgate telescope replacement is 800$, each door has a main board they rarely fix it rather just replace it for 400$ per door. PLUS the engineer’s hourly rate who installs the replacements. Volvo maintenance is never cheap.

Nice and clearly shows the technological advancements humans have achieved in every field from halogen clear lens bulbs to this but my question is what if the actuators fail how much would it be a pain in my arse to fix it. Something should be left as it is.
