This is Aston Martin’s finest car

Mat's back with one of the most anticipated evaluations of the year: the brand-new Aston Martin Valhalla!

Placed as the "child of Valkyrie," this cars and truck has a lot to measure up to. However does it in fact bridge the gap between the supercar world and the million-pound hypercar elite? Mat's flown over to Spain to dive deep and see if this British monster has the soul of a racer or the good manners of a roadway cars and truck.

So let's take a closer look, starting with the outside design …

From the outdoors, there's no rejecting that the Valhalla is a masterclass in aerodynamics. At the front, you'll find substantial vents that actually expose the automobile's suspension, giving it a correct race vehicle feel. The sides are dominated by aggressive strakes and complicated aero channels that guide air towards that huge roofing system scoop. At the back, things get even wilder with twin top-exit exhaust pipes, a huge rear diffuser, and an active wing that keeps the automobile glued to the tarmac.

Step inside, and the Valhalla has a proper hypercar feel. There's a pair of carbon fibre bucket seats, and these are surrounded by more carbon fibre along with premium materials throughout. There are 2 screens – a digital driver's display and an infotainment screen. The software is fairly standard, however, that remains in keeping with many other hypercars. If you're looking for storage, though, you'll need to load light! There's no boot or glovebox, and just very little storage within the cabin!

Under the skin lies a serious powertrain. The Valhalla utilizes an AMG-derived 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but Aston has actually gone to town on it with new pistons, camshafts, and considerably bigger turbos. There are likewise 2 electrical motors – both placed on either side of the front axel, to offer 4 Wheel Drive. The engine and motors combined deliver an incredible 1080hp and 1100Nm of torque, together with a declared 0-60mph time of 2.5 seconds.

Exclusivity like this doesn't come cheap. The Aston Martin Valhalla begins at roughly ₤ 800,000, however once you start playing with the options list, the majority of owners will be taking a look at a final bill closer to ₤ 1,000,000. So, is it worth the seven-figure price? And does it belong hypercar status, or is it just a very pricey supercar? You'll require to stick with Mat to see for yourself!

      The embargo for when a car can be shown is set by the car company, not the YouTube channel (and no matter what time they choose it will be awkward for somewhere in the world). You don’t understand that?

    1. @JohnLummis Avatar
      @JohnLummis

      She has fabulous eyes and eyebrows and giggle., so, apart from being gorgeous , she can really drive as well , I’ll guess that most people she meets for the first time don’t believe her when they ask her what her job is.
      Many years ago I went on a test day at Millbrook and was a front passenger in a modified Vauxhall Astra GTE ,driven by a young lady test driver , similar to Rihanna , around the handling circuit with two people in the back too , my god she could drive , absolutely fantastic driver , her control of the car, considering it was fully laden, was sensational , these test drivers are special talents , hats off to them.
      The car isn’t bad either Mat , I prefer the design to Valkyrie.

    3. @JubbatheHatt Avatar
      @JubbatheHatt

      @ISirSmokenot the engine kid ffs its how the rear suspension is set up not connected to the engine which in every other car eliminates engine vibration. This is Newey’s and AM’s problem

    4. @ISirSmoke Avatar
      @ISirSmoke

      @JubbatheHatt vibrations don’t make the car so much slower on the straights than every other engine

    5. @JubbatheHatt Avatar
      @JubbatheHatt

      @ISirSmokeit does mate 😂😂 mire speed is more vibration so they drive slowly to try and get as far into races as possible. Imagine if you’d sponsored this train wreck to the tune of tens if not 100’s of millions eh how embarrassing for AM that theyre humiliating thryre sponsors. This is why they go slowly for track time n therefore the sponsors might get noticed

      @CtecRef That price is normal, compare it to other cars of that kind, the racing tech, carbon, unique, 1000+hp, racing elements etc.. I’d take this over a Revuelto.
