That’s not a camera. It’s LiDAR. It basically sends lasers to map its surroundings. The cameras were behind the widshield.

Mirrors are fine and cheap to fix. Cant say the same for the cameras.

good luck when your mirror is heated, operates with tiny gears and electric motors, and has some LED integrated for the blind spot assistent…
