This car almost broke my legs!

Compare the very best brand-new & secondhand car handle :

Meet the all- Volante!

Mat's got his hands on this new drop-top GT, and he will see how this cars and truck has progressed compared to the DB11 Volante, while also seeing if it can compare with class leaders like the Roma Spider!

For starters, let's check out the exterior design, and it's not a surprise that it looks absolutely fantastic! The rear end may be fairly comparable to the DB11, however that's no bad thing! It's somewhat wider than the previous edition, and the brand-new tail light design looks definitely excellent. Along the side, the automobile comes with 21-inch alloys, and it also includes pop-out door manages, aggressive side skirts and frameless side mirrors.

Along the front, the automobile has actually had an overall style overhaul. The clamshell bonnet is gone, and it's instead made from several different panels. There are loads of vents, matrix LED headlights, and the hallmark big grille at the front.

Step inside and the interior's had an overall overhaul. There's an all-new infotainment system, and upgraded centre console with loads of physical buttons and rollers, and naturally the interior is covered in swathes of leather and aluminium panels. The seats are likewise super comfortable, but do not anticipate adults to suit the rear seats!

Under the bonnet, you'll find an AMG 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 680hp and 800Nm of torque. This power is sent out to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and claims it can hit 60mph in 3.6 seconds.

The all-new starts from ₤ 205,000, however is it worth it? Stick with Mat to see for yourself!

IIRC, there was no DB8 because AM were fearful that their client base (and fans) would think it used a V8 instead of a V12… and here we are, with a Mercedes AMG V8 in AM clothing.

The car looks smart, but given the choice I’d take a DB11 AMR with the V12 over this.

They nailed the central screen. Not too large and nicely placed inside the centre console. My only nitpick is that I wish they had added a rolling door to optionally hide it entirely.

I don’t get why AMG won’t give the new GT 681hp at least, but about 95hp less than the DB12… Why are they letting customers of another brand have more hp than their own?!
