This AMG E53 has something the BMW M5 doesn’t…

Change your vehicle with Carwow:

AMG has had its hands on the new E-Class and produced the brand-new Mercedes-AMG E53!

It's the most powerful variation of the E-Class you can purchase in 2025, however there's a slight concern – it costs around ₤ 92,000! That's the exact same price as the previous E63, and is only around ₤ 15,000 of the brand-new BMW M5! So does it necessitate the substantial price tag? Let's take a more detailed look.

In regards to the exterior style, there are a number of changes over the standard automobile. Up top there's an upgraded grille as well as a more aggressive bumper that includes 2 large vents. Along the side there are black surrounds for the windows, black side skirts and black door mirrors. At the back, there's a bootlip spoiler, an upgraded bumper, and a set of synthetic quad tailpipes.

On the within, when again you'll discover a number of modifications over the regular E-Class. There's an AMG guiding wheel with Alcantara, in addition to AMG pail seats. The centre console is covered in carbon fibre as standard, and the edition we have here has the enormous Superscreen infotainment system which even consists of a screen for the guest! Otherwise, the cabin is covered in soft touch products throughout.

The E53 is powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six, and it likewise includes hybrid power. The electrical motor & engine integrate to produce 585hp, or if you select the Chauffeur Performance Pack, 612hp.

So is the new E53 really worth north of ₤ 90,000? You'll require to stick with Mat to see for yourself!
