The perfect small car, almost…

Modification your cars and truck with :

This is the brand-!

's smallest hatchback has actually been updated for 2025, and Mat's about to learn if it's the very best option over rivals like the Peugeot 208 and Renault Clio. So let's take a more detailed take a look at the car.

Starting with the style, it looks pretty smart from the front, with new headlights and an upgraded front grille. Along the side, there are creases to provide the automobile a little meaning, while at the back the Swift appears uncommonly large in spite of it just being a small automobile.

On the within, there are quite a great deal of scratchy plastics throughout, although it's no surprise for an automobile at this price point. That being said, some great touches remain, like leather on the steering wheel and gear selector. There's a little infotainment screen in the centre of the dash, while there are (luckily) some physical buttons for the climate controls. The Swift also includes analogue dials, which is constantly good to see in an age of digital dial screens!

When it concerns setting up the cars and truck, it's an easy one, as there are only 2 trims readily available and one engine. The Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder fuel engine that produces 82hp, and it features either a 5-speed handbook or an automated gearbox.

The Swift starts from simply ₤ 19,200, increasing to ₤ 20,300 for the top-of-the-range Ultra edition. So is it the best small automobile to buy in 2024? Stick to Mat to see for yourself!

    Most of us could not care less if the dashboard materials are hard or scratchy Matt. In fact they are easier to clean, more durable and easily recycled at the end of the cars life.

    1. @mauritsvw Avatar
      @mauritsvw

      Agreed. Our Ford Figo has similar hard plastics, and our dogs regularly join us in the car. After a good wipe down, the interior still looks almost new after 14 years.

    2. @ARIES6181 Avatar
      @ARIES6181

      I agree on cars from that segment. But when you start to exceed 25-30k, you expect something softer and premium. Over 50k, soft materials are a must. Otherwise it´s a joke and fraud, like the new X3 and CR-V
