Another facelift of the 2018 car basically. Nothing to see here and no reason to upgrade, especially if you want 4WD as no longer available with petrol engine. EV still compromised by ICE platform. Other than that, still a great car.

      That claim is just wrong.

Geely has a majority stake in Volvo, but has no influence on any designing or development of vehicles, that is done in their headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The car is also manufactured in Belgium and they do their own sales and branding, completely independent of Geely.

Oh brother… Volvo sold out to China. The Chinese company, Zhejiang Geely Holding, owns about 78.65% of Volvo Cars’ shares and voting rights, enough to determine ordinary shareholder votes and effectively control the company’s board and long-term strategy. It’s not hard to realize China needed an established brand to infiltrate as they would have a harder road with unknown branding. China dictates every direction Volvo takes now.

Its nice they keep improving it with small amounts rather than what bmw does and kill their lineup.

But its sad to see that a premium brands is actually removing premium quality features in their ev lineups. Like trim options and real leather seats.

Not easy to sell for the same price as a Model Y.

A nice pod to drive home in, after spending your day in your cubicle.
