Didnโ€™t expect that kind of stopping power, it just plants and stops like it hit a wall!

It’s because Porsche has big slotted rotors

โ€‹@billymays7210um have you seen the rotors on a 911 Porsche I’ve never seen the Corvette ones but I can tell you to Porsche has some pretty big rotors idk about the gt4rs though I’m thinking about more the gt3rs

@80sgodrestores. Yes. I own one. And Corvettes have massive rotors as well. Not remotely relevant in this context. Not how a straight line emergency brake test works. And slotted rotors are actually a DISADVANTAGE in this contest. Less surface area for the initial bite.

      1) driver reaction
      2) tires
      3) weight
      4) weight distribution
      5) brakes

โ€‹@billymays7210well obviously but I thought the it’s not about all about the car but the person driving the car was implied I still prefer Porsche either way you are right but I’m also not wrong those cars do have big slotted rotors

โ€‹@billymays7210also I car would stop faster with bigger breaks you are right about the slotted part but I am right about the size part

@mrbrowz1000101itโ€™s faster than the GT3, brakes quicker, and is cheaper. My point is numbers are pointless

The corvette will never be a European car. Dummest thing Chevrolet did was make the new Corvette unaffordable to the working class. This was the whole reason for the Corvette. Chevy is just chasing a European dream.
