Mat's got his hands on the New Porsche 911 GTS, AMG GT 63, Aston Martin Vantage and BMW M8 Competition, and he's going to compare the 4 of them over a series of tests to see which is the essential sports coupe for 2025.
So, for beginners, let's take a more detailed look at the stats.
The brand-new 911 GTS is a hybrid, and it comes equipped with a 3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six, in addition to an electrical motor. Combined it develops 541hp and 610Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and as new it will set you back around ₤ 144,000.
Next up we have the AMG GT. It's powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this produces 585hp and 800Nm. Power is sent to all 4 wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch, and a new among these costs ₤ 185,000.
Up next is the Vantage. It's powered by an AMG 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this pumps out 665hp and 800Nm. Power is sent out to the rear wheels only via an 8-speed vehicle, and it's the most expensive car here, at ₤ 216,000.
Lastly we have the BMW M8. There's a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, creating 625hp and 750Nm. It's equipped with 4×4, an 8-speed car gearbox, and it costs ₤ 157,000.
