    Sport response precharge the turbo(s), so its is like a NA response with the torque of the turbo era for 20s

      The entry level carrera with 390hp is gonna win the standing race thanks to the Pdk but it’s gonna lose the rolling race. If it’s the 997.2 pdk then it’s gonna win the drag race too

    It’s not an electric turbo, it’s an electric-assisted turbo.
    It’s actually REALLY cool technology because it makes up for the biggest weakness of a turbo, which is that you had to balance turbo size such that it wouldn’t run out of steam well before redline while not choosing such a large turbo that you basically only started spooling near redline. Now you can have a turbo that’s fully spooled and ready at any time, and you can put a larger turbo to make more power because you’re not worried about silly engine characteristics that normally come with absurd sizing.

      I think it was back in 2005, Eaton Corporation (Eaton superchargers) partnered with Volkswagen to help produce the combination supercharger and turbocharger system. The twincharger system combined a half-size, Eaton Roots-type supercharger with a single-stage turbocharger on VW’s then new TSI 1.4-liter gasoline engine, which replaced the FSI engine previously available on the Golf in Europe. The system boosted the four-cylinder engine to 168 horsepower and 177 lb-feet of torque at an impressive fuel consumption average of 39.2 mpg. I don’t know if Volkswagen still uses the twincharger system, but it was revolutionary in eliminating turbo lag and giving drivers impressive performance.

    You guys should totally do a drag race between the most powerful cars from each country! Like Hennessey Venom F5 (USA), Bugatti Chiron Super Sport (France), Rimac Nevera (Croatia), Koenigsegg Jesko (Sweden), Lotus Evija (UK), Ferrari SF90 (Italy), and maybe the Aspark Owl (Japan).
