Literally thought Porsche would dominate the brakes

It’s the panamera 👎

First time Mercedes won against his Brothers🎉🎉🎉

Could easily be user error

Those break tests always are. They should just use the distance from brake engagement to full stoppage as a reference. I‘m sure that this is even integrated in the device they use for the quarter mile times. And if it isn’t, they can just buy a few new ones – it‘s not like they’re a small channel with little to no budget.

@hanoalkurdi I always see them as a pointless affair. It’s more of a leg strength and reaction test. Then you always have that one bloke whose down shifting using the engine breaking.

100 years from now people will still be equating brake quality to a single braking test stopping distance. Any cheapo iron brakes that are strong enough to lock up a wheel can slow the car down in this same distance. It is all about friction coefficients of the ROAD and TIRES and the rest is physics.
Where the good brakes Excel is under repetitive use, high heat, where inferior brakes would fail. -
2 cars lengths vs the Merc is huge
